LPG Retail Plant Cashier

Job Description:
Responsible for managing sales transaction and maintaining accurate financial records for the plant.
Responsibility
- Facilitates the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
- Maintains records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
- Processes expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
- Creates and maintains records of cash requests and disbursements.
- Reconciles all received cash, which have been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses.
- Processes payment for accounts and issuing receipts.
- Keeps records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checking the cash balance against this record.
- Collects money from bank for safe keeping before reimbursements.
- Files all documents concerning cash payment and collection.
- Responds to queries regarding approvals, payment limits and deadlines for retirements etc.
- Retires the various imprest accounts.
- Prepares daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree / HND in Accounting & Banking/Finance & Economics.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
LPG Retail Plant Supervisor

Job Description:
Oversees the safe operations and activities at LPG Retail Filling Plants. Manages sales and customer and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibility
- Maintains excellent standards in all operational activity, driving sales and profitability through the effective deployment and development of LPG cashier and operators in line with approved budgets.
- Ensures that the due process is carried out in the discharge of products and puts in various controls to minimize fraud.
- Facilitates daily stock requests from the LPG terminal.
- Implement measures to ensure seamless and safe receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of products in the plant.
- Facilitate regular facility inspection and maintain high standard HSE and implement maintenance controls/measures.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, consumer preference to guide Rainoil LPG offering accordingly.
- Report on LPG sales / financial results to LPG Coordinator.
- Monitors and evaluates plant operational and marketing results and develops interventions to promote business development and growth.
- Evaluation of daily sales of LPG and lodgements.
- Compiles and analyses periodic sales records and consolidates such reports to the LPG Coordinator.
- Manage all technical aspects of operations of the LPG plant including the storage facility.
- Manages all Gas Plant operations as well as staff-related matters.

Job Description:
- Ensuring the achievement of regional sales and expansion projects.
- Monitoring and ensuring optimal operation of LPG Retail facilities and supervising the activities of Plant Supervisors and Skid Operators
- Managing relationships with relevant regulatory agencies.
Responsibility
- Conduct regular training of Plant Staff and Skid Operators on safe gas equipment handling (observing temperature, level, and flow gauges, and perform regular unit checks to ensure that all equipment is functional)
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Operations Processes across Gas facilities.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure prompt reporting, reorder and replenishment of stock.
- Monitor and enforce housekeeping and service standards in all Gas Filling Plants
- Monitor and enforce compliance with Health & Safety practices at all Gas Filling Plants
- Engage Regulatory agencies to obtain required facility Permits, Licences, and Certificates
- Supervise the activities for Vendors executing jobs at facilities to ensure adherence to work scope.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance of all equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimise downtime. Including equipment metering and calibration.
- Prepare records of maintenance activities.
- Conduct weekly spot checks to verify state of Gas facilities.
- Communicate Gas prices to customers daily and follow-up on their orders.
- Liaise with Finance to confirm prompt confirmation of customer payments.
- Communicate approved customers for Loading to the Depot Operations Team
- Liaise with Gas Depot sales and operations team to ensure prompt customer loading.
- Follow-up with the Logistics Manager / designated truck drivers to ensure hitch-free delivery of product to customer locations.
- Monitor and report on Gas sales and stock levels across Filling Plants and Skids, daily.
- Prepare daily Product Programming (Replenishment) Request for Gas Filling Plants / Skids
- Follow up with customers to ensure prompt collection of Trade Accounts Receivables.
- Process expenses (Imprest, capital expenses, approvals) for Gas Filling Plants
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree / HND in Engineering or related discipline is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in LPG retail plant operations with at least two (2) years in a similar management role.
CNG Business Development Manager

Responsibility
