FG Approves N110bn Capital for Youth Startup, with Requirement for Eligibility

Launched by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports activities Improvement, the NYIF seeks to deal with the challenges confronted by younger entrepreneurs in accessing capital to actualize their enterprise concepts.

The Minister of Youth Improvement, Dr. Jamila Bio-Ibrahim, outlined the overarching targets of fostering wellbeing, excellence, nationwide unity, and sustainable improvement, all geared toward enabling younger Nigerians to understand their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.

  • She affirmed the ministry’s resolve to undertake complete reforms inside the Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC), together with initiatives centered on expertise improvement to reinforce the capabilities of youth corps members.
  • She define plans to offer not less than 5,000 members of the Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with N10 million every to help their entrepreneurial ventures upon completion of the NYSC scheme.
  • Bio-Ibrahim outlined strategic plans for information harmonization, analytics, efficiency administration, and predictive analytics to tell coverage prioritization and decision-making processes.
