Duties and Duties

The incumbent will help in offering ongoing technical steerage and coverage recommendation to the Authorities and civil society organisations in Nigeria, supporting and coordinating the event, implementation, and analysis of UNODC HIV/AIDS key coverage programmatic areas, specifically HIV/AIDS prevention and care associated to (a) individuals who use medication and (b) individuals residing and dealing in jail settings. The incumbent may also facilitate collaboration and coordination actions with UNAIDS, its co-sponsors and different key gamers and help the UNODC Nation Workplace in strengthening nationwide capacities to develop and implement methods that deal successfully with HIV/AIDS prevention and care in these key areas. 

Inside assigned authority, the Programme Officer (HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care) will likely be liable for the next particular duties:
