This comes a couple of days after the military authorities dismissed three troopers who had been arrested by the police for armed theft and kidnapping.
The suspects had been recognized as LCPL Abdul Musa, CPL Harmless Okwoli and CPL West Isaac.
In line with navy sources, the dismissed troopers had been arrested by policemen throughout an operation in April.
They had been subsequently handed over to the military authorities for additional investigation.
Consequently, the troopers had been charged, tried, discovered responsible and dismissed from service consistent with the provisions of the Armed Forces Act Caps A20, Legal guidelines of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
They had been subsequently returned to the police for prosecution.
