“This decline poses a major risk to the way forward for Nigeria. Justice is more and more commodified, and delivered in favour of the best bidder.

“Each time democracy is mentioned, fingers level to the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) as the issue. However INEC will not be the issue, as an alternative, the judiciary is. The judiciary is the most important risk to Nigeria. If our judiciary is efficient, our companies will thrive.

“When the rule of legislation is compromised, essentially the most weak members of society are disproportionately affected, and the material of our society begins to fray. The integrity of our establishments, the safety of human rights, and the soundness of our nation are all jeopardised.

“The rule of legislation is the best intangible and Most worthy asset of any society, and we should work tirelessly to guard and protect it. We should prioritise the pursuit of justice above all else.

“I emphasised the pressing must revitalise our judicial system by safeguarding its independence and selling the values of character, competence, functionality, compassion, and integrity amongst our jurists, in addition to inside our political management.
