Nigerian students in public universities might be faced with fresh academic setbacks as the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) are set to start an indefinite strike on Thursday.

The two unions declared on Tuesday to embark on an indefinite strike action from Thursday, July 4.

This follows the expiration of a two-week strike notice, over their four months salaries, and the unpaid 13 months salaries to the Abia State University workers.
